On s'est tous retrouvés à 9h heure Insalienne (c'est à dire à 30 minutes prêt) à l'aéroport de Saint-Exupéry (Satolas pour les puristes) afin de prendre le vol de 11h30 à direction de Londres Heathrow. Pour une fois on était quand même en avance ^^.
Première étape (ou premier coup de stress, ça dépend du point de vue), peser sa valise et espérer qu'on ne dépasse pas le poids règlementaire. Ok, ça aurait pu être fait avant... résultat : 23,2 kg avec une franchise autorisée de... 23kg ! Heureusement que British-Airways ne facture pas la centaine de grammes comme certaines compagnies low-cost (je ne citerai pas de noms).
Deuxième étape (même principe que la première), c'est de trouver l'avion, qui n'a toujours pas pointé son nez à 11h30 et qu'on attend désespérément... mais les hôtesses nous rassurent, si on rate notre correspondance à Londres, nous serons pris en charge... bref, on était quand même content qu'il arrive avec un poil moins d'une heure de retard, ce qui nous a permis d'arriver dans des délais plus que raisonnables à l'aéroport géant de Londres et d'attendre tranquillement notre 777 à direction de Shanghai PuDong, tout en réalisant que les anglais utilisaient toujours des livres sterling que l'€uro avait quand même sacrément chuté ces derniers temps (tiens je viens de noter que j'avais fait une phrase de 4 lignes, ce qui ne passera jamais en lettre de motiv ^^).
Du coup potin du jour : grâce à sa conception suivant le modèle AGIL, London Heathrow est l'aéroport européen qui présente le plus grand taux de retard/perte de valises, taux fortement renforcé lors des correspondances... hem, heureusement qu'on était au courant et qu'on a de quoi vivre deux semaines avec nous en cabine :)
Donc c'est ici que ce fini ce premier épisode (j'écris ces lignes dans l'avion donc je ne sait toujours pas si je vais retrouver mes bagages un jour, suspens !), à bientôt pour le prochain !
