Emeishan - 3ème jour

Lundi 30 juillet.

Pour ce dernier jour dans la montagne, nous nous sommes levés tranquillement à 7h30 afin d'entamer les 1000 derniers mètres de descente qui nous séparaient de la base de la montagne. Cette partie-là du parcours (entre Hongchunping et Qingyin) était surement la plus belle, et le sentier suivait un petit ruisseau au creux d'une vallée, que nous traversions parfois à l'aide de ponts suspendus. On a pu traverser la vallée des singes sans encombre, la majorité étant encore endormie et les quelques-uns présents préférant attaquer les touristes chinois (ils aiment bien les sacs à main).

Arrivés au pavillon de Qingyin (où nous étions déjà passés le premier jour), nous avons décidé de prendre le 3ème chemin qui menait directement au temple Fuhu, à l'entrée du site, sans passer par la case bus. On pensait avoir affaire à un petit chemin pépère, mais en fait ça montait tout le long, et au final ça nous a bien pris 2h30 de rejoindre l'entrée, dans un paysage moins intéressant qu'au-dessus. Mais bon, comme on sentait déjà plus nos jambes au moment de se lever, c'est passé :p. À noter en chemin la nonnerie de Shengshuige, où l'on a pu répondre à notre interrogation sur l'existence de moines féminins (nonnes) en Chine. Et bien elles existent, s'habillant et se coiffant comme les moines (oui ça fait assez bizarre à voir...).

Une fois en ville, on a pris le premier bus pour Chengdu (13h10) qui nous a ramené à notre hostel en 2h20 (pour 50 kuais).

En conclusion, Emeishan est une très belle montagne, pas folle comme Huangshan ou Huashan, mais où il est très agréable de se promener au milieu de superbes forêts, et qui a quand même la particularité d'héberger de nombreux macaques tibétains en liberté :).

À l'hostel, comme tout bon geek ayant passé 3 jours dans un monastère coupé du monde, on s'est fait une bonne session internet (on a même installé des passerelles anti-pare feu chinois sur les pc de l'auberge ^^).

Pour la soirée, on a retrouvé d'autres compères insaliens passant par-là autour d'une fondue chinoise/sichuannaise, où on a pu vérifier une des particularités de la région : quand ils disent que c'est épicé, c'est vraiment épicé !
