Beijing - 1er jour

Alors c’est l’histoire d’un parisien, d’un savoyard, d’un lorrain, d’un réunionnais avec une tête de chinois, d’une (vraie) chinoise et d’un expat’ qui prennent le train de 20h pour Beijing (en arrivant à 19h56 pour certain…). Après avoir déranger la moitié du wagon pour être à côté et déplacer les sièges pour se faire un petit lobby, on était prêt à passer 12h dans le train D312 ! (donc un train D c’est comme un TGV mais avec 5 sièges de front mais qui s’inclinent plus).

Donc 12h plus tard (ce qui fait aussi à 8h du coup ^^), on y était ! Après avoir posé nos sacs dans notre auberge de jeunesse, on est parti à l’assaut de la ville. La première chose qu’on peut noter est le fait que les gens utilisent intelligemment le métro : ceux de l’extérieur n’empêchent pas les gens de sortir, et ceux de l’intérieur te demandent si tu sors au lieu de te bouter hors de leur passage. Et le must, c’est que ça coûte 2 kuais par trajet, quelle que soit la longueur !

1ère étape de la visite : la place Tian’anmen, immense place pouvant contenir plus d’1 million de personne, tristement célèbre pour ce qui s’y passa la nuit du 3 au 4 juin 1989. D’ailleurs, l’ambiance s’en ressent encore : contrôles de sécurité à chaque entrée, militaires, policiers et bénévoles partout, ce qui ajouté avec des bâtiments de type URSS et des monuments dédiés à la gloire de Mao tout autour donnait un certain sentiment de malaise (pour rappel, le bilan du ‘règne’ de Mao est estimé à plus de 70 millions de morts).

On est ensuite allé un peu au sud de la place et on est tombé sur une ancienne porte (Qiamen) de la muraille chinoise, qui héberge le point 0 des autoroutes chinoises, et qui donne sur une rue commerciale bien sympa qui a été entièrement rénovée (donc bien plus chaleureuse que la place ^^).

Sinon le point fort de la journée c‘était quand même la cité interdite. C’est un château de 950m sur 750m, qui héberge des dizaines de palais qui accueillaient l’empereur (jusqu’en 1911 !), ses 72 épouses, ses 3000 petites amies et ses 200000 administrateurs. Cette cité dirige l’empire Chinois depuis la dynastie Ming en 1368. Ça nous a pris plus de 4h d’en faire le tour, et on était pas les seuls ^^.

Enfin, pour finir la journée, notre expat’ (Sam) nous a emmené dans un petit resto perdu pas loin de notre hôtel (30 minutes pour y aller, 15 pour revenir, le tout à pied -_-‘), où on a pu manger comme des rois sur une table tournante (et sans être malade !) pour seulement 30 kuais par personne, donc c’était royal.
