Dear fellow travelers, I recently encountered an unforeseen issue during my bicycle tour in China when my friend's tire exploded, causing a delay in our journey. We managed to fix it in a nearby village, but the repair didn't hold, and the repairman had left before we could pay him. After that, we struggled to find a truck driver for a reasonable price to transport the damaged bike to Yangshuo. Finally, our hotel came to our rescue, providing a replacement bike and retrieving the broken one. However, we faced high costs for the repair and transportation. Could you share your experiences with bike repairs and transportation in China, and offer any advice on handling such situations or negotiating reasonable prices in the future? Your insights would be greatly appreciated.
