I think that what you posted made a lot of sense. However, consider this, what if you were to create a killer title? I ain't suggesting your content is not solid., but what if you added a title that grabbed folk's attention? I mean %BLOG_TITLE% is a little vanilla. You ought to look at Yahoo's front page and watch how they create post titles to grab viewers to open the links. You might try adding a video or a related pic or two to get people excited about everything've written. Just my opinion, it might make your blog a little livelier.
